USAC Qualifying Event

Threshold will be hosting a Youth USA Climbing Qualifying Event for the 2020 Boulder season for Region 41 competitors on Monday Nov 23 – Sunday Dec 6th.


  • Please familiarize yourself with the virtual format of the comp before coming in to compete.
  • Please also make sure you have the Kaya app downloaded and that registration is complete before you arrive at the gym.

Day Pass Entry:

    • We do not require reservations for competitors or spectators. If you are part of a large group or team (8 or more people) planning to visit at the same time, please give us a heads up at
    • $14 day pass rate for nonmember competitors (1st time visit)
    • $5 pass for each subsequent visit thereafter
    • $5 pass for spectators
    • Team coaches will not be charged a spectator fee.

Other FAQs:

  • Make sure you have a current waiver for Threshold on file: update your waiver online
  • Spectators must have a waiver on file, even if they are not climbing.
  • Masks are required for all spectators. Climbers may only lower their masks while they are attempting a climb, but must keep it over their mouth and nose all other times.
  • We are doing temperature and symptom screenings at the door upon entry.
  • We are not currently renting out chalk, but will have it available to purchase in the shop.
