Threshold is expanding
We are thrilled to make the OFFICIAL announcement that Threshold Climbing + Fitness is expanding in 2021! While 2020 has thrown a number of challenges our way, we are pushing forward and investing back into the facility to give our members and community MORE access and even MORE options to train.
Our Community Room has been converted into an advanced training space with 3 adjustable walls from Grasshopper Climbing that will featuring a Kilter board, Grasshopper board and spray wall.
- These new walls can adjust from -5 to 55 degrees and can adjust while you are on the wall climbing.
Late night and early morning or “24-hour” access will be coming April 1, 2021. This add-on option for members only, will get you in the fitness room and new training space before and after public gym hours.
The new training space is members only and 18+.
And don’t forget that we’ve got a fresh new order of climbing holds and volumes arriving.

Threshold offers a state-of-the-art training facility, unlike anything else in the region that includes a number of unique climbing specific training tools. Our new, dedicated training space is for Members Only and ages 18 and up.

The Tension Board was designed to be the ultimate training board, with wooden holds to reduce wear on your skin, a mirrored layout for balanced training, and adjustable angles, this wall provides an incredible training experience. Lattice training is the world’s first systematic assessment and training tool for climbing, and Threshold is the only gym in our region that features this special tool. Work with a trained assessor to evaluate your skills, strengths and weaknesses for targeted training feedback. This adaptable and versatile rig can be used for multiple training opportunities with pull up bars, rings, dip bar, and more you can push yourself to your limits. Build upper body and hand strength with our campus rungs and hang boards nearby.
Threshold’s sport climbing area features 5000 sq ft of climbing on towering 50ft walls, with both top rope and lead access, and 11 auto-belays for those days you don’t have a partner.
Challenge yourself on 9000 sq ft of boulders on a variety of terrain with a top out area, plus adjustable training walls to push yourself even further.
In the gyms sport area you will find a full 15m IFSC Speed Wall.
Unlimited yoga + fitness
Weekly fitness and yoga classes are included with your membership, plus access to the yoga space where you can warm up and cool down before and after your climb.
Gym members get full access to our fitness space anytime the gym is open. Threshold is equipped with a full fitness space, including cardio equipment, free weights and weight machines.

Yes, every membership gets one free guest pass a month. Family Memberships get one pass to use per family.
Yes, Members currently get at least 10% off in pro shop, and we occasionally have special offers for Members Only that may offer a higher discount. Members also get first access to many of our Seasonal retail sales. You also get discounts on rental gear!
Access our class schedule online with the Mindbody app. Be sure to use the same email address to sign up that you used on your waiver. As a member you can easily sign into yoga, fitness and climbing classes from any device. Download the app here: Mindbody
Yes, we waive half the enrollment fee for all active/retired military members, and offer a $55/month rate with a valid ID.
Yes! We offer an education membership option for college students and full time teachers of $55/month. You must show ID to receive the discount.
If you live outside of a 10-mile radius from the gym, you can sign up for our Commuter Membership for only $55 a month. You address must be verified by a front desk staff member, and must meet our designated criteria for a Commuter.
The day that you set up your membership will be your future billing date. You can set your billing day to be a later date at start up but you will not have gym access until that date.
We allow you to freeze your membership payment for up to 3 months, you will be charged a $10 freeze fee in place of your regular membership charge. In case of military deployment or maternity leave we allow longer freezes, with no freeze fee. You may be asked to provide documentation for your freeze. You may cancel your month-to-month membership at any time, but you must submit the request 15 days before your billing date in order to cancel by that billing date. An official Membership Change Form must be filled out to completion and submitted by the account holder. You can request the Member Change form at the front desk, or by calling 405-470-3611.
We do not charge late fees, annual fees, or a cancellation fee, but require that you do give notice if you plan to stop payment on your membership. We will contact you via phone and email about account issues or in the case of a declined payment. Accounts with an outstanding balance for more than 15 days without notice or contact may result in re-enrollment fees, and a balance owed before you can return to the facility.
