A letter to our Members
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak Threshold has to close its doors for the next few weeks. This is an unprecedented situation for all of us, and we are slowly settling into this new and uncertain reality. We would be lying if we said we weren’t anxious about the coming weeks and months. As climbers though, we know what it means to suffer through, push hard, and overcome. We are already looking ahead and for how we can get through this in the most skillful way.
During this time, first, we would like to say a HUGE thank you to our members keeping their memberships active during this difficult time. Your willingness to support your home gym is overwhelming. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We will not be making any automatic changes to memberships at this time. We hope this closure to be short, but if at any time you would like to request a change to your account, e-mail us at email@example.com and we will get a change form over to you. A notice form must be turned in before your billing date in order for changes to take effect.
For now, many of us are still working hard here at the gym. We are getting creative on how we can continue to serve our members. A few things we are working on to offer during this closure:
- The pro shop is open online. You can order and pickup items via curbside pickup. Visit the pro shop section of the website to browse online.
- We are developing online training content and classes. Follow us online if you don’t already to stay up to date.
If you have ideas for how we could better serve you during this time, let us know! We want to hear from you. Shoot us an email with your ideas and feedback.
We are facing some very difficult decisions, we all must do what is necessary to protect our community, and many of you have already had to make sacrifices. We hope to pay our staff for as long as we can, but with our doors closed we lose a significant amount of income to do that. For those of you who can stick with us during this difficult time, we ask that you please do so. You will be supporting our team and offering us some stability. Also, please know those membership fees are going towards facility improvements, such as cleaning, route-setting, and we are going to throw one heck of a party for you ALL when we re-open!
We miss you all and cannot wait to see you guys at Threshold again soon. Now—let’s stay healthy, wash our hands and beat this thing together!

All of our Month-to-Month Memberships require a one-time $10-30 Enrollment Fee at sign up.
Yes, every membership gets one free guest pass a month. Family Memberships get one pass to use per family.
Yes, Members currently get at least 10% off in pro shop, and we occasionally have special offers for Members Only that may offer a higher discount. Members also get first access to many of our Seasonal retail sales. You also get discounts on rental gear!
The day that you set up your membership will be your future billing date. You can set your billing day to be a later date at start up but you will not have gym access until that date.
We allow you to freeze your membership payment for up to 3 months, you will be charged a $10 freeze fee in place of your regular membership charge. In case of military deployment or maternity leave we allow longer freezes, with no freeze fee. You may be asked to provide documentation for your freeze. You may cancel your month-to-month membership at any time, but you must submit the request 15 days before your billing date in order to cancel by that billing date. An official Membership Change Form must be filled out to completion and submitted in person at the front desk before changes can be applied. You can request the Member Change form at the front desk, or by calling 405-470-3611.
Yes, we waive the enrollment fee for all service members, and offer the $55/month rate with a valid Service Member ID.
Yes! We offer an education membership option for college students and full time teachers. You must show ID to receive the discount.
If you live outside of a 10-mile radius from the gym, you can sign up for our Commuter Membership for only $55 a month. You address must be verified by a front desk staff member, and must meet our designated criteria for a Commuter.
